Beyond Potential supports a focused range of academic subjects and learning processes during the founding launch.
Not every course, grade or topic is automatically accepted. Each enquiry is reviewed for subject fit and tutor competence before tutoring is confirmed.
Literacy and Reading Support
Age-appropriate support with reading-related skills, comprehension, vocabulary and literacy tasks that fall within tutoring competence.
Literacy tutoring is educational support. Beyond Potential does not diagnose dyslexia or claim a diagnosis-specific reading treatment program.
Writing
Writing support can focus on planning, organization, sentence and paragraph development, clarity, revision and understanding assignment expectations.
For graded work, the learner remains the author. Tutoring can teach, question, model and provide feedback, but does not produce assessed submissions for the learner.
Mathematics and Numeracy
Mathematics tutoring is available from elementary numeracy through Grade 9. Mathematics above Grade 9 is not offered.
Tutoring can focus on concepts, worked examples, guided practice, problem-solving processes and recognizing where an error or misunderstanding begins.
Study Skills and Organization
Study support may include planning, organization, task breakdown, time and priority management, note-taking, study routines, exam preparation and evaluating whether a strategy is helping.
Selected High-School Subjects
Beyond Potential can consider most high-school subjects after the course and current topic are reviewed. Chemistry and physics are not offered, and mathematics is limited to Grade 9 and below.
Selected Postsecondary Support
Selected business courses can be considered where the course content matches current competence. Our founder holds a business degree, and every course request is reviewed individually.
